Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.

An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper. When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.

Privacy Statement

Policy · Effective: June 2026

This statement explains what personal information EBJET collects through its website and submission system, how we use it, and the choices you have. We use your information only for the purposes of the journal.

Scope

This statement covers the EBJET website and the submission system—managed on Open Journal Systems (OJS)—and the accounts and submissions handled through it. It applies to authors, reviewers, editors, and readers who provide information to the journal.

Information we collect

  • Account details. The name, email address, affiliation, and role you provide when you register.
  • Submission content. The manuscripts, metadata, and correspondence you upload or send as part of the editorial process.
  • Technical data. Basic server log information (such as IP address and browser type) used to keep the site secure and working.

How we use it

The names and email addresses entered on this journal site are used exclusively for the stated purposes of the journal—managing your account, running peer review, publishing accepted work, and communicating with you about your submissions. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising or share it for marketing.

When we share information

  • Editorial process. Submission details are shared with the editors and reviewers handling your manuscript, consistent with double-blind review.
  • Service providers. Trusted providers that host the site and register DOIs process data on our behalf, only as needed to deliver the service.
  • Published articles. Author names, affiliations, and article metadata become part of the public scholarly record on publication.
  • Legal requirements. We may disclose information where required by law.

Cookies

The site uses essential cookies needed to sign you in and keep your session secure. These are not used to track you across other websites.

Data retention

We keep account and submission information for as long as your account is active and as long as needed to maintain the integrity of the scholarly and editorial record. You may ask us to close your account and remove personal information that we are not required to retain.

Your rights

You may ask to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To make a request, contact us at editor@ebjet.eleventhbit.com. Published article metadata generally cannot be removed, as it forms part of the permanent record.

Security & changes

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, though no online service can guarantee absolute security. We may update this statement from time to time; the effective date above shows when it last changed.

  • Publication Ethics: the AI-disclosure stance, similarity threshold, and whether suspected misconduct is reported to institutions are policy choices—adjust the wording to match how EBJET intends to operate.
  • Peer Review: the stated durations and the "two reviewers per paper" figure are sensible defaults—adjust them to match how EBJET actually operates before publishing.

Privacy: confirm the data controller's legal name and contact, hosting and DOI providers, whether any analytics or non-essential cookies are used, and retention periods. Privacy wording can carry legal obligations (e.g., GDPR)—consider a quick legal review before publishing.
